The cloud is not a backup in itself. Microsoft and Google delete data from the recycle bin after 93 days. We put in place a dedicated cloud-to-cloud backup (Acronis, Veeam) that saves: emails, OneDrive and SharePoint files, SharePoint sites and Teams. Daily backup, configurable retention (30 days to 7 years), granular restore (a single email or a whole account).
